Chris received his BA Economics and International Relations in 1987 from the University of Wisconsin Madison. For the next several years he was in a multi state sales position. In December of 1989 he joined a recruiting firm in Jeffersonville, IN. Within 5 years Chris earned multiple National Recruiting Awards that included (3) Recruiting Excellence awards, (2) Top 10 Consultants as well being part of the number one agency in the country for 1992. In August of 1995, James and Christopher was formed and subsequently moved to Wisconsin in 1996. Since then Chris has continued to earn multiple global awards to include Top Ten Consultant and Top FinanceNET importer. In 2003, Chris was ranked the number 2 individual recruiter in the world. Community activities include: President of the University of Wisconsin Alumni Club of Louisville; Cubmaster (3 yrs), Girls softball coach (4 summers) and Little League coach.

Ginny Harmes
Search Consultant
Ginny got her start in recruiting at the same time James & Christopher relocated to Wisconsin in November of 1996. Ginny specializes in company research and candidate identification and qualification. She is focused on finding candidates for our job orders and continues in this vital capacity. Ginny also has participated in many recruiting seminars on both of our network affiliations. Ginny has earned multiple Ten Klub awards over the years for her split placement production.
We are affiliated with two (of the three) major worldwide networks of professional recruiters (IPA and NPA) to greatly increase our candidate base. Combined, these two organizations comprise of approximately 3000 recruiters. Chris has been in leadership positions within both of these professional organizations, has organized many meetings and given presentations on subjects such as Recruiting Best Practices and Negotiations. James & Christopher has been rated in the top 40 agencies (NPA) in the world 5 of the last 7 years.
